Hello everyone,

I hope that you are safe and well. I am writing you today to encourage you to use your gift (or gifts). I haven't been on here in a long time, but God wanted me to share this message with you. 

For the past few months, I have struggled to use my gift of writing. Truthfully, sometimes I get tired of it. I have been writing for most of my life and sometimes want to do something different (which I can), but God has encouraged me to use this specific gift to help others.  His motivation is what helped me to write my most recent E-book "Sweet Tragedies, Dreams That Came To Life". 

When I first had the thought to write the book in 2023, I was excited about it. I started off writing the stories, but as life went on, I began to think of all of the hard work it would take to publish it and began to procrastinate. I had to work and felt like life was already busy enough, But God. He wouldn't let me put the idea off. With his continuous push and strength, I finally published the book May of this year. Is your gift to write, write it down. Is it to sing? Use your voice.  If you don't know what your gift is, I would suggest that you reflect on what you like to do, jot down notes, and think about how you can use what you come up with to help someone else. After that, take it to God and pray about it.

I recently took a solo trip to Los Angeles, California. My soul had been wanting to go since I last visited in the Spring of 2021. I lived there for a little while in my late 20s and fell in love with the weather, the palm trees, the lifestyle, and the beach. I had it on my vision board to go sometime this year but kept putting it off. After praying about it in August and receiving confirmation from God, I booked my ticket to go for a weekend the following month. I made an itinerary, packed my bags, and headed to LA.  On Friday, September 6, I landed at the Los Angeles International Airport around 2 PM. The flight took five hours from Charlotte, North Carolina, and I stayed at the  Los Angeles Airport Marriott Hotel .
