1) Who are you?
My name is Britney Bell. I am a Christian, creative entrepreneur, author, and educator. I graduated from UNC Charlotte in May of 2023 with an elementary education degree. I am a full-time kindergarten teacher and part-time multi-business owner. I started a student organization at the Scrapbooking club at Charlotte while attending UNC Charlotte, where we create awesome opportunities for creativity, and art for diverse communities. I am the founder of Bell’s Learning Assistance where we provide exceptional and specific childcare services for families. I am the lead distributor for Kymz Oils in Charlotte. I am the author of two books, “Tales of a Wildflower” and “Striving for Purity: A Guided Prayer Journal for God-fearing Women”. I am passionate about my relationship with Christ. I fall short of the Glory of God because I am a sinner however, I believe that my faith is what has taken me this far and my faith is what will continue to carry me further along.2) What is your blog, program, agency, or organization about? When did it start?
I started all of my creativity as a kid. I used to sell snacks in school, write skits, plays, and comics, and scrapbook. I used to write music and perform at talent shows and I sung in the school chorus. I started writing poetry and recording music in high school. I brought creativity with me to college, and I decided to expand it. I knew that I wanted to be an entrepreneur when I was a junior in college. I have been working at a preschool for some time and I realized that I wanted to pour all the energy that I was putting in at the school in my own businesses. I decided to finish college with a plan. I would retire early from being a teacher and travel the world, sharing my story and speaking, and offering my services and books nationally and globally. But how am I going to do that?Day by day, week by week, month by month, I practice goal setting and I choose to believe in myself that I will indeed make it. I hustle hard now so later my hustles are hustling for me.
3) What is your mission? Why do you feel strongly about this area of interest?
My mission is to lead people to Christ by showing them my authentic self. I want others to find love within, and a relationship with Christ. “Tales of a Wildflower” is about how I overcame relationship violence and found my identity and purpose in Christ. Although I am far from perfect, I understand that this flaw is not what makes me who I am. I am who God says I am, and I am valued, beautiful and unique the way I was created. I am royalty. I am precious. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I want other people to find their real identities and purpose and strive for it. I want to inspire others to discover themselves, find and pursue self-love, and the love of The Creator.
4) If someone asked for your feedback on how to live their best life, what would your response be in one sentence?
"Find out who you are, and whose you are then write a plan, set some attainable goals, and boss up."
