Feature of the Week: Videographer, Neek

 

 

1)Who are you?

My name is Nicholas but, growing up all my friends called me “Neek”. I am a New Yorker through and through. If you ask me where I’m from I would never say America. I would say, “New York”. 

2) What is your blog, program, agency, or organization about? When did it start?

I am a videographer. I work on everything from music videos to fitness motivation, blogs, baby showers, birthday parties, and day-in-the-life vlogs. You name it, I’ll shoot it. I started back in 2018 randomly after watching a lot of YouTube vlogs. I fell in love with the camera and editing and have been shooting ever since.

3) What is your mission? Why do you feel strongly about this area of interest? 

My mission? Not sure really, maybe I would say it’s just to be as creative as possible and still be able to provide for my family. I feel so strongly about camera work because it is an outlet for me. An outlet that lets me express my artistic side but, not be in the spotlight. I hate the spotlight lol. 

4) If someone asked for your feedback on how to live their best life, what would your response be in one sentence?

Honestly, I would tell them to do what makes them happy, then find a way to make some money from it. Life is short and you gotta embrace it head-on. Enjoy the calm sea and ride out the rough waves as they come. Life is meant to be lived, go live it.
