Devotionals: When Jesus Ascended on High, He took Me and You

Ephesians 4:7-8

7But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. 8 This is why it says:

“When he ascended on high,

he took many captives 

    and gave gifts to his people.”


Oh’ the Gift of God is amazing , His Amazing Grace. His kindness to us , His faithfulness, Love and Mercy. There is no one out there whose love is as great as His. He is so forgiving and gave up His one

and only son for Me and for You. How could anyone want anything more ? Ephesians 4:7-8 says that when Jesus ascended on high , he took many captives and gave gifts to his people . As He went on up to Heaven he led a train of captives , Us, taking us from the grave to a Heavenly place . A place of peace , singing , quietness , boldness and of

faith .

  1) Who are you? My name is Britney Bell. I am a Christian, creative entrepreneur, author, and educator. I graduated from UNC Charlotte in May of 2023 with an elementary education degree. I am a full-time kindergarten teacher and part-time multi-business owner. I started a student organization at the Scrapbooking club at Charlotte while attending UNC Charlotte, where we create awesome opportunities for creativity, and art for diverse communities.
