Feature of the Week: Creator and Blogger of "Miss Pretty Odd", Kiara Martinez

1) Who are you?

  My name is Kiara Martínez, I am the face behind the blog Miss Pretty Odd. I am also a mom, and work in Public Relations.  I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, but for 4 years lived with my family in Boston. I loved it; a small piece of my heart will forever be in Boston. I am very close to my family and my daughter is my inspiration. I am very passionate about creating and being part of creative teams. I believe that my creative side has made me a very optimistic person. I love to travel, and my favorite color is pink. 

2) What is your blog, program, agency, organization about? When did it start?

 My blog is about affordable finds, fashion outfit ideas and beauty trends. I launched my blog in 2018, but I put it on hold because I was not 100% sure of my vision. After I had my baby in 2019, I restarted my blog, and it was a fresh start. I gained most of my viewers rom TikTok and realized how enjoyable people found “My Finds “series type videos. 

3) What is your mission? Why do you feel strongly about this area of interest? 

 My mission is to inspire my viewers to always find what is best for them and their budget. To show them that you can have great taste and find amazing items at affordable prices. You do not have to always spend a lot of money to have cute and trendy things. I love what I do!!!

4) If someone asked for your feedback on how to live their best life? What would your response be in one sentence?

 “Be bold!!!  And explore your creativity every day.”

5) How and where can people find more information about you?

 If you share a similar passion, I am 100% sure that you will very much like my content! I love to receive ideas from my viewers and love to interact with them. It brings a lot of joy to my days.
