Devotionals: Give Thanks

Psalm 107:8-9  8 Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, 9 for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.

Give-to present voluntarily and without expecting compensation;bestow
Thanks-kindly or grateful thoughts;an expression of gratitude

Thanksgiving is a day traditionally known where family and friends gather around the table to break bread and come together in unity. Some travel afar to be among close ones  they haven't saw in a while; while others prepare their home for guests,  roasting turkey and baking sweet potato pies.

Though this day is a very special day, and we are happy to eat and see one another;  it is important that we take the time to thank our Creator and Provider, Lord God Almighty. God is the one that has allowed us to come together, woke us up to see another day, has provided all our needs, and has protected us from things unimaginable. God loves us, He cares, and is always there no matter what we go through. Today I encourage you friends and family to thank him and be grateful for all he has done not just  on today, but everyday.  God is good, and his love endures forever and forever.

Be Encouraged,

Noelani
