Devotionals: God's Design for Your Life

Exodus 25:1-9

The Lord said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites to bring me an offering. You are to receive the offering for me from everyone whose heart prompts them to give. These are the offerings you are to receive from them: gold, silver and bronze; blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen; goat hair; ram skins dyed red and another type of durable leather[a]; acacia wood; olive oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense; and onyx stones and other gems to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece.“Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them. Make this tabernacle and all its furnishings exactly like the pattern I will show you.

In the book of Exodus, God instructed his servant Moses (who led the Israelites out of slavery from Egypt )  to build a tabernacle/dwelling place so that God would have a place to dwell among  his people.  When instructing Moses and the leaders on the design of the tabernacle; God gave Moses specific, detailed instructions on what to use for the design and architecture  of the tabernacle, as well as the things that went in it.  All of the supplies and products used were of the most quality and choice selection. The finest of fine. God made sure only the best of the best was used for his dwelling place, and just as he instructed the design of the tabernacle, he has a design laid for our lives. All we have to do is believe.

You may not know this, but every journey, every experience, every trial and tribulation you have ever encounteredGod already  knew you would be there before you even had a clue. The plans for your life , your life's design, is written down in His big book of Love, and just as he used the best of the best for the tabernacle, he has the best in store for us. To complete our design; we must do our part, seek him and trust in His Way.  During the process, He will provide us with signs and show us what he wants us to do and where he wants us to goHe instructed Moses, and he will also instruct us too. Let's Believe in his design for our lives today. To God be the glory.

Be Encouraged,
