Feature of the Week: Giving Back With: "Food Not Bombs- The Boston Chapter "

I found these fellas today giving out free hot soup, and bread to the community in Central Square, Cambridge . These men are a part of the movement, Food Not Bombs; a world-wide movement which started in 1980 in Cambridge, which is now made up of over 1,000 independent chapters that provide free food to their local communities.

The main ideology of Food Not Bombs, is that "Food is a right, and not a privilege." They provide free vegan meals to the public, regardless if someone is hungry or has food, and recognizes that there is much food waste in the country, yet people are still starving. They see this as a act of violence.
